About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Feel ultimate freedom, while making myself a stronger, happier and better individual.
ABOUT ME
I'm travelling from Mexico all the way down to Argentina, through all of Central and South America for the next 9-12 months; "Christopher McCandless-Into The Wild style".
I would love to experience the heart and core of the Latin American culture, living it like its locals and blending in, rather than becoming a touristic clown...
I am an Italian, 27 years old (well, now I am almost 32 and I am no longer traveling...😭) very tall lady, adopted Londoner; I used to work in Events Management and Music Promotion, but I am now prospecting a career in psychology and natural health science, which is what I am passionate about the most. I also enjoy writing, every so often. I'm not too bothered about a career at the moment, though; instead I want to grow and better myself as individual, evoluting psychologically, finding inner peace and slowly trying to approach "consciousness".
I don't have commitments to go back to, so I guess I have my mind open and I might never return.
Though so far I probably sounded slightly ehm..dreary, I promise that, a part from thinking way too much, I'm good fun, I love to laugh and to make myself ridiculous. I also got told I am generous and that I have got a good heart.
If I had to describe myself in 5 words, I would say strong personality, stubborn, highly analitical, funny/entertaining and very loyal. Oh and very modest too, but I said 5 words.
I am vegetarian (desperately trying to be vegan) and I am against the obsessive-excessive consumerism of our neurotic capitalist society, which I think is alienating us and consuming our souls.
We are not who we are anymore, but who we want people to think we are or who/what society expects/has decided us to be, having lost completely the real, true sense of "self".
Information is occulted and we are just directed puppetts, kept in the unknown, of supposively democratic systems, which manipulate everything in advantage of their supreme lust for power.
I'm not a big party person, as I'm fairly done with all of that. Not that I'm old and boring (well, may be I am) or that I don't like to party every now and again, but I lived in London for 4 years and had a pretty rock and roll life already, which I am now very tired of (so I don't want to party on a every weekend basis). I prefer chill out nights, cooking, talking, singing, sharing, sometimes dancing and loving...although that's probably cause crowed places with lots of fucked people I don't know and with ridicoulously loud electronic music, annoy me and make me very uncomfortable.
I'm a peculiar individual, worth knowing though, at least for a smile. I would love to meet some precious and profound souls to nourish and enrich my travels with.
PHILOSOPHY
These are men's ultimate and only accomplishments in life: 1. Reach state of consciousness; 2. Acquire as much extended knowledge as it is humanly possible (while using one's own persoanl talents); 3. Have a family. A career is only a means to gain self-achievement and self-love, which conclusively could help in attaining universal love (and so, as a consequence, consciousness).
"...I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong, but to feel strong, to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing the blind, deaf stone alone with nothing to help you but your hands and your own head."
"Two years he walks the earth. No phone, no pool, no pets, no cigarettes. Ultimate freedom. An extremist. An aesthetic voyager whose home is the road. So now, after two rambling years comes the final and greatest adventure. The climactic battle to kill the false being within and victoriously conclude the spiritual revolution. No longer to be poisoned by civilization, he flees, and walks alone upon the land to become lost in the wild."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have hoped, I have dreamt, I have loved, I have cried and I have smiled.
Teach, Learn, Share
While travelling, I'd like to do something productive like learning how to surf, how to dance salsa, how to play a music instrument or how to sing, so if any of you is keen on teaching me, I could teach you Italian, English or swimming in return (I am a former competitive swimmer). I'm also a good writer and a skilled promoter/events planner.
I also wouldn't mind working or volunteering, whenever/wherever possible.
