ABOUT ME

I am currently taking 2 gap years between highschool and University ( If i dont fall in love with one of the countries I am visiting) in order to explore the American continent and..find myself? I don't know. I was working in the US for a year as a nanny and am soon starting my Latin America travels where I am just going to backpack south as far as my money takes me.
Curiosity is one of my biggest strengths, so I will just try to learn as much as possible on this trip about people, lifestyles, traditions, languages, ways of travelling ( when talking to other travellers) and to share all the knowledge I have collected so far..so just tell me to stop asking questions if you need to! lol
What else about me? I would say I'm very optimistic, very hard trying to make good jokes haha and interested in too many things...Well, I'm 20 and therefore just starting all my explorations of the world, but I did student exchanges to Russia and Ecuador and traveled to some European countries...so I would enjoy listening to stories about all the great (and maybe not so nice) places you have been to!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's freaking awesome!!
I started couchsurfing last year in Miami and then finally started to attend more and more CS meetups in NYC which has a really active CS community with tons of opportunities to meet new, cool people! When I got to know those people, my year here suddenly got so much better, so much more rewarding and now my good friend circle exists of almost only CSers from New York and New Jersey who I will miss so so much.

I am still so happy I joined this great community and am looking forward to finally start hosting when I am back home so that the world visits me when I am not travelling around it...:)

Unfortunately, I can't provide you my hostfamily's couch, but I would love to host anyone as soon as I'm back in Germany...and as I want to move to Berlin, you can visit me and stay with me in one of the greatest cities :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

pretty unequipped horseback riding through fireflies on my friend's grandparents' farm in the middle of NOWHERE in Ecuador at night - I felt like we were the only people in this world and i think i have never had such a strong feeling of freedom as in that moment.
