About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find myself through meeting new people, having new experiences and getting outside my comfort zone!
ABOUT ME
Currently travelling for a year and a half with my Scottish boyfriend. Finished up our year in New Zealand (Working Holiday Visa - I recommend this to EVERYONE) and we are now in the process of visiting Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines.
After my engineering degree, I decided that I'd love to study Urban Planning and this interest came to me while travelling Europe with my best friend and observing the different ways of living - mostly attributed to the different layouts of the cities that we visited.
I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take me long to warm up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, to see places from the point of view of a local or someone who is living here. I hope to be able to host people when I'm back in Canada :)
Interests
I love live music :) Used to play the guitar, love hearing classical guitar live
I would like to learn how to surf - LOVE the ocean, but have never been anywhere with big enough waves (until now...)
Love snowboarding
I really enjoy learning about the public transportation system of a city I'm travelling in (and then make friendly suggestions about how to improve it - Transportation Engineering is my choice of study)

What I Can Share with Hosts
Great conversation - I love debating controversial issues (ahem politics and environmental issues) or talking about favourite books/movies - I would also love to hear about your country and your thoughts on it, favourite travel experiences, tips on where to go in South East Asia, New Zealand, etc
