About Me
Born in 1992 in Trento, I first discovered Origami at age 4-5 as a pasttime, and began studying and practicing it more seriously since age 10, after meeting a group of local paperfolders and joining the Italian Origami society (CDO) and their conventions. Since then, I explored and studied the techniques and theories of Origami, its genres and its mathematics, and I designed a number of original models, both representational and geometric. In recent years I worked mostly on single-sheet origami tessellations, geometric periodic patterns inspired by the Islamic artworks, publishing a booklet about my techniques in 2013, and I was invited as a special guest in France and Japan in 2014 to show, teach and lecture on my works. Currently, I work on designing, exhibiting and selling his own artworks, designing origami projects on request, teaching workshops and lecturing about origami techniques and mathematics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, and enjoy meeting locals!
I think that meeting locals is the best way to know a new place or country, by seeing how they live, what they eat, asking suggestions and spending some time together to share experiences and ideas!

Music, Movies, and Books
A lot of music: psy, metal, punk, dub, dnb, reggae, rap, rock, ...
And I love reading, too! Among my favourite authors, I can list George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Ray Bradbury, Giuseppe Culicchia, ...
I don't watch many movies... At the moment, my favourite ones are "Tutti giù per terra" and "PAZ!" (two Italian movies)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
mmm...
Perhaps being invited in Japan to the 20th Origami Tanteidan convention (probably, the most important origami convention in the world), lecturing there about my work, and participating to 6OSME (the 6th Origami in Science, Mathematics, and Education conference)?
Or maybe just being what I am, through all the experiences done so far ;)
