About Me

When I am alone I spend most of my time in reading books, listening to the music, studying something new and interesting or practicing drums (unfortunately for my neighbours) and amateur juggling.

But that does not mean I am introverse or that I can't be talkative. When in a group I love talking to everyone, listening to their stories and sharing mine, maybe while holding a glass or a fork, thus I would say I am more a "pub-guy than a "club-guy".

Among my pleasures there is bicycle, not as a sport but as a metaphore of life: the idea of visiting and travelling in places by following their natural shapes, listening to their typical sounds, experiencing downhills and uphills as there are in any other life experience. Just great.

I hate cats, their hairs everywhere, their nocturnal ambushes, the claws in the flash caused by something unexpected. But for some reason life decided that me and those felines are intrinsically linked and we must spend our lives togheter. So I learned to love them and appreciate their characteristics, in praticular their ability to sleep everywhere and to sneak in places they regret to have been, and most of my life phases have been accompanied by a cat.

I love pizza (what did you expect from an Italian? :D) and Tangerines

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am pretty new to the site, but in most my travels i slept on couches and shared rooms, hosted by friends or in hostels (and sometimes on trains and buses).

What best way to learn about a place than receiving advices from a person that actively lives there?

After all travelling is learning, learning is sharing and sharing is couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: If you read the previous sections you can easly guess that I love Jazz and drums and surely jazz drummers are my favourites and in my opinion, above all of them, seats Max Roach.

Movies: there is no favourite movie, there are just have movies that left me a good feeling, like, among the last decade movies, there are Gone Girl, The Best Offer and Into the Wild (in chronological and not preference order).

Books: Dostoevskij, Melville, Zweig, Murakami...some of the authors that come in my mind while writing this description.
