Overview
About Me
I am Alessandro, I am 24 yo and I am from Italy (Turin). Till one year ago I lived a pretty chill life, I graduated in Chemistry and I was living with my parents. Then, I fell in love with nature and traveling. In September I started a gap year in which I was traveling full time and I ended up finding my dream job. Right now I work in sustainable and hiking tourism in the Canary Islands.
I speak Italian, English and Spanish. I mostly travel alone and I stay in hostel or local accomodations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like to travel slowly and connect with people. I think it is a good way to get to know more deeply the local realities and to get to know the best places in the area that you are exploring
Interests
I am completely in love with hiking and camping and sometimes I also scuba dive. I love languages and one of my big goals is to be able to speak 5 languages. Right now I speak 3 but I'm in the process of learning Portuguese.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music, I always say " life without music is like living in black and white, you miss an important part of it". As well as communication and languages, for me music is super important. I listen to music every day and as soon as I am m alone I put music. I also like to connect with people through music, I like to listen to the music that my friend and the people that I meet on my trips likes. I have a playlist with all the songs that people that I met suggested me and this is an amazing way to have good memories and listening to these songs again bring me back to the moment when I was with that person and give me nostalgia.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trip to Jordan.I stayed with a family from there (the family of a friend that I met traveling) and traveling and exploring the culture with them was amazing. And the food there is the best in the world (I mean, after Italian food)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Italian and I can be your free hiking or cultural guide in Tenerife and in the french-italian Alps. When I travel I always like to learn a bit of the language or the local dialect. I love to explore a place through the eyes of people that live there because I think it is the best way to travel.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My super big smile and good vibes. I can share my travel stories and my experiences and last but not least, I can show you some Italian cuisine. I can also teach you some Italian and Spanish.
