About Me

**New update: I'm now in Milan!**

*Clarifying to avoid future misunderstandings*
I'm open and super happy to host you if I'm home (also last minute) but I need clear feedback and communication from potential guests.

This is because I need to arrange my schedule and logistics in order to make it happen.

I'm clarifying since I found myself in the situation where a CS just texted me about their plans the same morning of the arrival day, after I specified that I needed feedback from them at least one day in advance for that date. I had already made other plans by then, and I felt sorry to say no and would like to avoid that in the future.

Communication is key for me.
Thank you❤️

Last update: over a year later, back home, after my world trip.

My mind is blowing if I think about who I was only a year ago or even 6 months ago.
A trip around the world has been more life changing than I could ever expect, because it allowed me to grow even in some areas of myself I never considered important.

Most interestingly, especially for long-term travellers, are two things:
- I travelled for a year, but most revelations occurred to me in the last 3 months of my trip - all together.
- I forgot the second one. But ok, it will come to my mind.

Ah yes, at some point you guys will WANT to go back home, because you feel it's actualy time to go back. Or at least it was for me, after I understood certain things.

Covid has been fun, because I've been in New Zealand where there was no Covid. Text me if you pass by Como, I'm not sure anyone is travelling right now but I'd be happy to meet or arrange accommodation if possible.

Always happy to share and hear stories :)

I feel that after 6 months the time has come to update my profile.

Well... what the hell of a ride it has been!

My European trip with Couchsurfing has been amazing, and I've enjoyed each and every experience I have been through.

I feel so grateful to all the people that made this journey special that I am looking forward to give back to the community all the hospitality I received.

I'm now travelling in Asia where CS is not so widespread (at least in the PH), but it still allowed me to meet AMAZING people that became part of my travel for a while. If you like my profile, let's just connect!

---------------
At 24 I left my full-time job to follow my dream and travel the world as a backpacker.

I am originally from Como, a small town in the north of Italy, and left home in July 2019, super thrilled and a bit scared about the unknown.

I will try to move ultra-slow (few or no planes) and enjoy every step of the way. No booking in advance or rush to meet the schedule.

I am now on my way and would love to meet many people and hear their story (I love stories) - that's why I'm using Couchsurfing on the way.

My passions are travelling (of course), good food, books, people, art, sports and rock 'n' roll. Just discovered and got amazed by the underwater world of scuba diving. But I'm very curious and have many other interests.

I love life and for me meeting new people is a way to share experiences and views of the world.
That's why I love both small talk and (especially) deep conversations :)

My big dream is to travel the world to discover how life is in other parts of the planet.
UPDATE: now I'm living it 😍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just discovered this way of travelling and would love to meet people and hear their stories, share life experiences, and hear tips from locals about the regions I'm going to visit.

And, why not, explore a bit of the world together.

Interests

As you can see I'm very curious and I have many. But during this trip I discovered that I LOVE adventure. And scuba diving. Unexpected things and surprises make life special.

If you want to do any activity together, also last minute or unplanned, just go for it and propose!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not picky about music and enjoy many genres, but love rock ballads in particular.

I'm not an expert (at all) about movies, but I like Wes Anderson style.

Huge fan of fantasy books (don't even remember how many dozens I read). I also read books from different areas to learn new things - I love to learn new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Northern Lights 🤩

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English and Italian, while I'm learning Spanish and would love to practice more.

I can also tell you about all quirky things about Italy and our culture(s) if you are curious.

I love to learn new things, your story, and anything you want to share - I am curious and like to ask questions.

I can cook Italian dishes and a few more good ones.
And of course spend time together and explore the world :)
