Hi everybody, I'm Alessandro, nice to meet you!

I live in Germany, Munich, and I'm currently studying Physics at University.
I'm a really curious person, so my interests are not just limited to my field of study: I really love discussing and sharing ideas, thoughts, knowledge with anyone, about virtually anything. I particularly enjoy reading and I have some kind of fascination for history.

I consider myself a very open-minded person, who's aim is right now the one of getting in touch with different cultures, lifestyles, and people.
What I believe is that anyone is free to do literally anything as long as it doesn't deprive others of their freedom to do the same, and that's what moves and guides me everyday.

I hope I'll have the chance to share with you my ideas as well as my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I came across CouchSurfing, I immediately realised that this was exactly what I had always been looking for: a platform that allows people from all over the world to meet and to share their lives.

What I find amazing about the CouchSerfers community is that what moves hosts is not a mere economic personal gain, but just the possibility of sharing their house and their lives with strangers, in order to learn more about them because of a genuine interest.
This is something really impressive to me, which I didn't believe I would ever have the chance of experiencing.
Also I believe this is what travelling is really all about.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC:
Music really plays an important role in my life and I listen to plenty of genres: Rock, Electronic, Classical and also a little bit of Rap and Pop. I've also played the piano and the guitar, but unfortunately just for a short time.

MOVIES:
Watching films is another one of my hobbies. I love cult films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Pulp Fiction, and almost anything by Christopher Nolan (Interstellar is of course one of my favourites).
It goes without saying that there are many more films to talk about, but we'll have the chance if we'll ever meet.

BOOKS:
Wherever I am, I always have a book with me. I really like reading, and most of the books I've read are Philosophy/History books, or classic novels like "1984" and "The Da Vinci Code".

What I Can Share with Hosts

At my age I believe I have more to learn from hosts rather than to teach to them, so what I can undoubtedly share is my curiosity, my interests and my passions.
I'll definitely try to be as helpful as possible with the house, and if you'll need something, you can count on me!
