Overview
About Me
My name is Alessandro,
I was born in Sicily, in a little town called Palagonia and grew up there until the age of 18, when I left to live in Rome to work with music. After living there for a few years, I moved to England, and here I am still, working as a photographer and trying to make music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Love to travel and meet interesting new people, especially those who like Radiohead and can give me a guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books
I play electronic, ethereal rock - this is the music I like the most and aspire to create, however I love Jazz/Blues and all the kind of music that gives a valid reason to be called music.
When it comes to movies... Darren Aronofsky, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick.
My favourite book that I'd suggest to musicians particularly, but people who want to understand the relationship between music and us would be "How Music Works" by John Powell. Talking about trippy magical books, i'll suggest The Master And Margarita, Heart of a Dog and The Fatal Eggs, by The Russian Master Mikhail Bulgakov.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope that we can share and exchange our knowledge and go home knowing something we didn't!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to give back to hosts for giving me the pleasure to stay with them.
I'm sure that I could cook you something italian, share with you my music or perhaps perform to you. Or maybe a pint at the pub (minus the sharing).
I'd also like to give them welcome to my home when they need somewhere to crash.
