Hi, I’m Alessandro (aka @journey24_net) and between 2017-2019 I’ve accomplished a journey around the world without taking any flights!
I started from a little town in the north of italy and little by little by always going east, with every means of transportation, I came back home from the other side ahah
It was a wild dream of mine and it definitely changed my life.

On my Journey I focused a lot on my passion of Photography and videomaking and when I came back I started officially became a freelance Photographer and... I'm loving it!

I haven't travel much after my came back (mostly because of the pandemic) but every now and then I love to travel with my girlfriend discovering new places!

I’m an extremely extroverted and sunny person, always in search for discovering new places and meeting new people.
I’ve got a lot of passions, but one of my biggest one is travelling as u can guess by the photos!

Even though I travelled a lot all over the world I don't have a lot of references and that's because after a few weeks into my Journey I got hosted from people I've met along my way.

It's good to know that as I got hosted a lot I know hot to behave into someone else house!
I'm very respectful, organized, clean and I know when to leave space to the host while still being very talkative when appreciated.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been on a 24 month journey around the world without flights and I like to meet a lot of new people along the way. I love to have the chance to meet locals, to talk with them about our respective cultures and to discover hidden and non-tourist places.

I haven't read a lot of books cause I'm a big Movie guy!
I'm a lot into film making and I love a good and interesting movie with a intricate storyline and my favorite Movies are in fact from Christopher Nolan... can't name one, they're all great to me ahah

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well, before my world tour I did so many sports so I could have done many crazy things but know the list goes on and on ahah

The most amazing things I've done to me are:
Slept on the Great wall of China, without a tent or anything like that, just a sleeping bag on the floor! It was indescribable!

As I travelled without flights and knowledging that i can't walk on water, to cross oceans I took some boats!
But not any boats, I took Cargoships!
It was scary at first as the longest sail I've done was on the pacific for 30 days straight without internet but as long as I got used to it it became one of the greatest experience of my life!

I travelled for 10 days around the endless and most remote areas of Mongolia with a driver and a guy (now a huge friend of mine) that I've know for just about few hours before the departure.

The list goes on but I like to keep and share the best with my CS friends.
