Overview
About Me
I'm a research assistant in Biology/Agronomy/Entomology who likes to do some camping trips, watch foreign (most of the times) indie (most of the times) movies and eat great food. In short, I love having a good time while discovering new stuff!
Visiting new places and meeting people from different culture are great ways for me to do all these things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From my experience, it's a great way to have a nice and sincere contact with locals when traveling to new places. Also the best way to get the vibe from somewhere. Also, I find that people who shares their passion about their city (and their own passions) is always a great experience!.
Interests
A lots of thing going from sports to food, from the great outdoors to having a good time downtown. I like to keep an open mind and to try new things... so interest can easily be unlimited!

Music, Movies, and Books
There is so much, and i am not the writer type. I'll try to keep it simple :
Music : Neil Young, Bon Iver, Pinback, Bonobo, K-OS, Micheal Kiwanuka and recently Andy Shauf and Kurt Vile.
Movies : Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry), 28 Days Later (Dany Boyle), Old Boy (Park Chan-wook), Operation Avalanche (Matthew Johnson) and recently The Wailing (Na Hong-jin)
Books : The World According to Garp (John Irwin), Novecento: pianist (Alessandro Baricco), Kafka on the Shore (Haruki Murakami), Being at Home with Claude (René-Daniel Dubois) and recently Pays sans chapeau (Dany Laferrière)
...
And while I'm doing this list... I'm realizing how many Bands / Movies / Authors I'm forgetting... Having on discussion on these subject is the best way to share.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing is quite relative... but I had the chance to do some sampling on a group of small islands in the Mingan Archipelago (located in the Côte-Nord region of Québec) that is closed to the public for preservation... So I saw some landscape that very few people had the chance to contemplate!
Teach, Learn, Share
Some boring stuff mostly... but I teach baseball to young kids so I can help you learn a few tricks! Also, being a french native speaker, I can help in that department also.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good stories, interesting conversations and a lot off good time! I'm also an open-minded person, so I'm always ready to try new stuff and being outside my confort zone.
