CURRENT MISSION
Meeting new people and opening my mind as much as I can
ABOUT ME
Hi!! I'm Alessandro ;) I'm a young guy from Venice. I've started traveling since 2011; and yes after my first trip I've realized that I need to travel and meet new people, because staying in my own area means staying in a prison ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Years ago I was a frightened boy, I've never traveled and my thoughts were influenced by people. When I've started to take my life in my own hands I've realized that first of all you have to love yourself, and when you'll do it, you will understand how powerful you are, and you realize that life is full of experiences and challenges to deal with; so you will stop to blame yourself and you will start to live in harmony with yourself. If you desire to do an experience, do it!! and if you love yourself, you would never have the idea of doing something that will hurt you or someone else ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met two couchsurfing's users last year in Graz, but in previous trips I've met other people contacted by the net. Every time I've met new persons to me was an amazing experience, because I had the opportunity to talk with people with different cultures than mine...living in a small town like mine is not helpful if you desire to have a different thinking and view of the life.
Interests
Computer Programming, Music (for now only listening ;) ), Sports, Traveling, Reading, Psychology
Music, Movies, and Books
A lot of Heavy Metal's bands, I could say Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Testament and so on, but I could say even the old Progressive Rock from the 70's or even the Grunge from the 90's. But only one is the artist that in my life reached the first position, he's Frank Zappa!
I will tell you only three books, the books that has been/are part of my changement:
- "Your Erroneous Zones" - Wayne Dyer
- "To Have or To Be?" - Erich Fromm
- "Inchiesta sul Cristianesimo" - Corrado Augias
