Hi people! My name is Alejandro. I'm from a South-West region of Spain (Extremadura). People from there we're not talking about being from an specific place,city or village...is more like a feeling, a way to survive...it is different from other regions but not for political or cultural reasons, but cause everyone takes care of each others and this is the most important feeling. Don't be scared! We dont fight for independency! Just we love where we come from :)

I was studying telecommunications engineering in a very lovely city en Spain (Cáceres) and after two years of grading, I decided to moves away from my comfort zone and search for experiences in other countries. So I took one Erasmus scolarship and I went to Italy (Parma) where I passed the best year in my life and I started to love travelling and meet people from different parts of this world. I could develop in somehow speaking skills on Italian and English and that was very import to develop myself personally and professionally as well.
I was there with only 20 years old, so I consider myself open-minded thanks to that experience and the people (obviously older than me that make you growth quickly!) I met there :)

After return from Italy, I got a job from an Swiss digital tv company. I'ts been already 3 years since I started to work and Im very proud of my job, my skills, people I met and the travel options my company offer me such Nederlands or Israel...

If I could speak and self-evaluate of myself, I would say that I'm a trusting person, very good friends of his friend, confident and with a big determination in everything I try to do.
Being open-minded makes that you dont want to just travel to one foreign country and spend as much money as you have and try to get a good experience. if you really loves travelling and you're not a regular one, you'd like to meet local people who furnish me knowledge about where I'm going to be, they think of their country, quality of life, political, society ... and of course, to HAVE a great party!!

I'm more than these lines but at least it is something that people will notice when they meet me.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

sMe empezé a interesar la plataforma de Couchsurfing por gente que iba conociendo de otros paises a través de un amigo que hospedaba a estaspersonas en su casa. La relación común que habia entre ellos fue la empatia, el deseo de descubrir, aprender y disfrutar, y sobre todo el respeto ante alguien que no conoces pero te esta abriendo las puertas de su casa (literal o no).

Más tarde tuve mi primera experiencia Couchsurfing alojándome en casa de un chico chileno durante mi viaje a Sudamérica y fue simplemente maravillosa. Tanto él como amigos suyos nos trataron fenomenal y sobretodo nos enseñaron Santiago de Chile de primera mano, dándonos muchiismos tips para progresar en nuestro viaje.

Todo esto hizo que me decidiese a crear un perfil y tener la oportunidad de seguir por mi mismo conociendo a gente ya sea donde yo pueda ofrecer (Madrid) o en otros lugares del mundo que pueda conocer de forma mucho mas amena y personal.

音乐、电影和书籍

Im a fan specially from American and European movies made on 70s and 80s. That was a very special era on making films. Some of my favorites could be: Clockwork Orange, Goodfather, ..Cuco's nest, Apocalypse Now, Chinatown, Blade Runner...but I love as well movies more recents written by genuis like Tarantino, Kustorica, Lync or Gillian.. I couln't say just one favorite films, I could elaborate like a 20-sorted list but that is something I would need to compare personally with someboday! :)

My life is about music. That's it. From being a child, I had a very good influences in my family. It was curious since my father was introducing me about psycodelic rock of the sixties like Beatles or Pink Floyd, my mum was determined to show me all about spanish and southamerican singer-songwritters like Sabina, Serrat or Silvio Rodriguez. Then my uncle showed me more aggresive music like grunge, metal and he introduced me also on techno and minimal music.

So I could say that Im a music self-learner 24/7 and I love to go to music festivals. This year I hope to go to at least, 3 of them cause it is one of the best experience in life. The combination between friends, beer and good music is simply amazing :)

I like very much dystopian books like 1984 or Farenheit 451 but also novels about historic dramas or mysteric-detective tales.

I think that people logged at this platform we have more or less the same interests when we host a people:
- Typical country cuisine.
- Personal Experiences.
- Good conversation when we can learn from each other.

- Interest and gain knowledge in other areas on which we used not to be very involved.
