My name is Alessia (that often becomes Alicia or Alissia :D), I am 23 years old and I live near Turin, in northern Italy. I really love foreign languages on the whole, but my focus is on English, German and French, I got a bachelor‘s degree in linguistic mediation and at the moment I'm working as interpreter at trade fairs in Germany.
Since I like travelling, I'm open to different cultures and I'm always eager to meet local people in order to discover customs and habits, while practicing my languages and making new acquaintances.
I'm extrovert and dynamic, you'll always see me smiling, because this is how I want to live my life.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

The main reason is that I travel a lot and I think this is a great idea, I always prefer to meet and get in contact with local people. They can give you tips, share stories and experiences about the place they live, that you can't even imagine as a tourist.
If you really want to say you visit a country, you can't do it without having talked with local people.

Moreover, I've been working in Germany lately , therefore I happen to look for a staying of about 3 or more nights in some German cities, while meeting local people who are willing to show me the city.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was an Erasmus tutor, I accompanied 15 Italian students to Dresden, Germany, who had to do a one-month internship in some German restaurants.

It was incredible , I learned a lot from them and in the end they showed me so much affection and thankfulness, that I couldn't have been more satisfied.
They made me understand that teaching could be my possible future.
