I’m 26, swiss and right now on my one year travel around the globe. Needless to say I love to travel then.. (; Back at home I work in a hospital as a secretary, so basically I do everything the doctor doesn’t. I do quite a lot of sports, for example running, yoga, badminton and hiking, but I‘m always up to try new things. I love to read, listen to music and watch movies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it‘s a great way to meet the people of said country and their culture and habits. It seems more authentic than spending time in a hostel with heaps of other travellers, not that it is a bad thing per se but I came to get to know the country, not other travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to mention, when it comes to music you find basically everything fron the early 20s until today‘s music on my phone. The same goes with books, I read classics like Jane Austen or George Orwell, crime novels such as Kathy Reichs or James Patterson and romances. Basically whatever you throw my way I read. Same goes with movies, love action movies or comic movies like Marvel stuff, historical stuff as Schindlers List and the Pianist but also light stuff and romances.
