Overview
About Me
Hello! I’m Alessia, I’m an Italian pizza lover who loves to travel. I study medicine in Rome, but every time I can I leave for someplace new. I have lived one year in Texas and in France, and from that time on I wasn’t able to stop exploring new countries. I’m curious and easy-going, I love to eat as much as I love cooking! I believe that you really get to discover a new country only with your eyes and your belly!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up on Couchsurfing because it’s definitely the perfect way to actually get to visit a new place, by connecting with the people and share as much as possible. I enjoy listening, asking questions and meeting new people who I’ll get to remember along with the memories of the new place I’ve visited.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to the music that makes me feel good, especially blues and jazz. One of my favorite things are road trips with a good soundtrack!
My favorite books are “Siddharta” by Hermann Hesse and “Into the Wild” by Jon Krakauer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my time in Texas I acted in many plays and musicals, I had the chance to perform in front of thousands of people and win an award! It was so unexpected, and sharing that moment with the people I worked hard with made it even more special!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Definitely some good talks, stories and food!
