About Me

"The only thing that remains constant is change". (Heraclito).
It's a fun way to say that nothing is fixed, everything moves, everything changes. I want to travel to open my mind more and more, and why not, change my mind too.

My philosophy of life is kindness, I think it is the key to solving many problems.
Kindness allows us to create a dialogue with people who have a different thought from ours too.
"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".
Yes, I like quotations ;)

I have a great interest in everything that is science and amazement.
I love talking about nature, history and arts.
Furthermore, in this particular historical moment, it is very important to discuss politics to create bridges, not walls.
I want to talk with people to understand something new, to feel a new point of view.

I'm studying Environmental Engineering, I want to "save" my Country from hydrogeological disasters.

Every Friday I take part in the Friday For Future climate strike, and with other associations I try to realize projects and solutions to limit traffic in my city and make air cleaner.

I'm a drummer and I play in a R&B band with 12 musician! Yes, it's great! I also like to play piano, guitar or ukulele and singing with old and new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"Speak friend and enter" - The Fellowship of the Ring

I want to start with this quotation from one of my favorite books (and movies).
Obviously it's just a "poetic" phrase, but maybe it's a bit like the idea of couchsurfing.

I believe that traveling and meeting people from other countries OPEN YOUR MIND, break down prejudices and make bigger your cultural background and experience.
Discovering a country or a city is not just seeing monuments and museums, but living close to the locals, getting to know them, drinking with them (It's the third time I talk about drinking, but rightly I'm a good guy!)

I think this is an innovative way to discover the world, to meet new people and sharing ideas with them.
