About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not just travelling, but also experiencing...

ABOUT ME

Ciao, my name is Vu Hoang Quan but you guys can call me Alex (or Alessio if you are italian). I'm a master student from the university of Cassino - Italy. I'm vietnamese (not chinese, we are different, ok?).

PHILOSOPHY

Open the door for the homeless, give a hand for the poor, and forgive the sinners :) Love is all around :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost nothing... In the trips before I sleep in my friends' house... just it

Interests

I'm addicted to football, and all of the things related. I'm a Juventus fan, it's the main reason for me to choose Italy to study. And don't be surprise if you meet me with a jersey of some football team :P

Another vital part of my life is music. I played bass guitar in a Rock band in Vietnam before coming to Italy. And I'm also a member of the church's choir. Sound a little bit strange, but I'm both devil and angel xD

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? I'm kind of metalhead. I like Thrash Metal and Power Metal. Favourite band: Metallica, Nightwish, Pantera... I played bass guitar in a band when I was in my country... But I'm also a church's choir member. I sing in church every Sunday. I'm both angel and devil hahaha...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Go on foot about 12km from the Ciampino train station to Ciampino airport at 2:00, across a park without street lights or any kind of light.

The cannonization of St. John Paul II in Vatican also. I went to Roma one day before and sleep outdoor near the Castel Sant'angelo. Then at 3:00 I queued for 5 hours to enter the Saint Peter's square. What an experience!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some experiences about travelling to Asia and Italy, and of course I can share them with you guys... And also languages... we can teach each other some kind of different languages haha.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Vatican City State, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Poland, Viet Nam
