About Me

CURRENT MISSION

tri in auckland!

ABOUT ME

Relaxed, easy going, reliable, sympathetic, not very talkative but finding the right topic I can get along. I enjoy most outdoor activities and try to avoid noisy and crowded places.
I've been always in the track many people follow. You know, school, school, schools an more school which I thank my fathers for it, but I'm realizing I've been missing a lot of things in life. It's time to sneak a peek into other things. As many others, I've got a stable job (thankfully) but soon I'll quit and follow my call that is triathlon. Not to be a dedicated professional in the sport, but a fulfilled triathlete and coach.
I'm a physicist (yes, that's my academic degree). That gave a sort of analytical way of thought which I try to apply into sports. Sometimes I might be painstaking. Sometimes I will take it as it comes.

PHILOSOPHY

Great things come "little by little". This is something sports has taught over time and I think it can be applied to many aspects of life. The toughest thing is to perform that little every day, but with a mixture of focus and faith you'll be amazed of the things you can accomplish.
There is no knowledge worth to be known if it is not transmitted or used in favor of other people. Teaching or learning something through real experiences is the best way to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this and I don't think I will be couch-surfing until I have some money and spare time to travel. However, if you find something interesting about me you'd like to share then go ahead an contact me!

Interests

SPORTS!. Beyond working out and those healthy-lifestlye clichés I like to see sports as an art. Not that I'm a connoisseur or a pro; I won't know who is the current fencing world champion nor the life-story of Lance Armstrong, but watching others perform and explore my own limits suffices to remind me of the amazing stuff human body can do. MUSIC! Sometimes I feel life as pieces of songs. There are those moments when "I want it all" to those moments when "you can't always get what you want".
I also enjoy reading (as much as my time allows) about personages or historic events. You migh run into a lot of facts that has defined some cultural aspect of a region, state or country.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a big fan of any artist or band but there's a lot of music I like to hear. Most of it's because of the music itself caring little or nothing at all about the lyrics. Classical rock, blues and jazz are among my favorites. Some other I can't stop hearing the melody of the artist's voice.
Prefer movies of the so-called art cinema that generally show life as it is. If hanging out with friends anything's good.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really into triathlon. So if you ever come to my current homeplace I'd love to show you around as a triathlete: where to swim, where to ride and where to run.
