Recently moved from Berlin back home to Los Angeles for work & Grad School Applications. Having a mini-vacation in Sydney, Australia before!

ABOUT ME

In a nutshell, I'm mid-20s LA girl who loves to write screenplays, play with my Dachshund-Pomeranian mix "Sadie," and spend time connecting with my best friends and family. My dad's had a successful film career, so I have a PLETHORA of unnecessary film cult knowledge and inside jokes. I'm of the Blewish persuasion (Black & Jewish), and therefore have a passion and interest in different cultures of all kinds! Being fortunate enough to live in the metropolitan hub of Los Angeles, my exposure to different types of people puts my socialization level at an all time high (not to mention the constant networking required for working in the film industry). I love traveling (have lived in Tel Aviv & Berlin), trying different foods (and dranks) and sharing heart-warming experiences with new and old friends. Secondary languages include: American Sign Language and beginners Swedish.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life thankful for what my parents, friends and dog give me everyday: Love, Love and more Love <3

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My girlfriends and I were lucky enough to meet the most AMAZING host couchsurfing in Paris the summer of 2014. Was amazing that we could all connect on so many levels even if we all came from different backgrounds!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As noted above, we stayed with our amazing French host for 5 whole days and I felt like I gained a brother. We had a great time being nerds by talking about films/tv and playing Gears of War en français! It was great meeting his friends, going out on the town and just having sincere heart-to-heart conversations.

Side Note: I'm a little lady, so I fit most recliners ;c)

I've been going to Coachella for the last 8 years so that would be a generalization of my music selection. Oh and I took a Beatles class so I know WAY too much about them. #sorrynotsorry

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I went on Birthright Israel, I had made a close friendship with three girls within a week. Two of the girls were native Israelis and shared a fresh perspective about many facets of life. This one night we were at the Western Wall on the Friday night Sabbath, and the Israelis helped me and my other friend to the wall. Words cannot explain the feeling of sisterhood and connection I felt in that moment. I'll remember it forever...

I'd love to learn popular phrases in a new language, a new perspective on how different people live and what they experience in their daily life. I can share my film recommendations and wacky life experience so far. I also make the most amazing mac and cheese tuna casserole of your life.
