ABOUT ME
Privet! Hello! ¡Hola! Hallo! Bonjour!
Actually, I would like to know more about you!
But if it is necessary...
Well, I am a person who would like to explore other cultures and mentalities. So, I hope to combine my two hobbies, medicine and language at a job for an international humanitarian organization in the future.
I am absolutely not a "party-guy", but a teetotaler and a no smoker.
Being a child of a big city, the nature attracts me a lot and even a bit more than creations of the human hands.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't say I really adore any movie. But some of them have just been stamped into my memory. For example, "The man from the Earth" and "Delivering Milo". Among russian films I could name "Oblomov" (which is an excellent film for those who want to know more about the so-called "russian soul"). This movie is based on the novel written by the Russian writer I.A. Goncharov who lived in the 19th century.I am fond of different music styles varying from classical music to hard rock depending on my mood or the aims of listening. The only book I have read three times was "The Gadfly" by Ethel Lilian Voynich. When I studied at school I was fascinated by "Crime and Punishment" by F.Dostoyevsky. "1984" by G.Orwell is the roman, which deeply imressed me. I cannot say that I liked it. On the contrary, I wanted to get rid of this book as soon as possible as I read it till the end. I felt so ... depressed. But still, I count this book as the most impressive I've ever read. "Doktor Zhivago", written by Boris Pasternak is definitely the most beautiful roman I know so far.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, to be honest I am not a lover of anything extreme. Especially if it is coupled with a danger. I suppose that I don't have to risk with my life since I am responsible to my parents.
However I have some "moments which left me awestruck".
Firstly, I remember clearly if it was yesterday the moment I got to know that I had entered the university. For years it was the most impressive minute in my life.
Years after I participated in the international meeting of the Red Cross Youth in Hamburg. One evening we (the young people from Nicaragua, Germany, Russia, Tansania and Latvia) sang the anthem of that movement. I experienced then an unforgettable feeling of happyness and unity.
Yet, I am proud and happy about my personal achievent of reaching and crossing the Thorung La pass in winter in Nepal. My guide dropped my on the way up, I had a dramatic shortness of breath because of the high altitude but I'VE DONE THAT alone! It was an unbelievable experience for me!
Thanks to Skype, Norwegian Airlines, and their Wi-Fi on board, I was able to talk with another hemisphere being at the altitude of 10 km! Together with my intelocutor we met the sunrise that was expeсted 10 hours later in her country. It was impressive!
