Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know the local view on the places I visit, getting to understand a bit more of every town and city through the eyes of people living where I go. And even if right now my living situation doesn't allow me to host, I have had great experiences with surfers and I'm looking forward to host again as soon as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

All music that makes me feel tingly, reggae, pop, classic rock, jazz, etc. Not good at being a fan so I can't tell you band names and will probably mix some up, sorry, but I'm definitely interested in listening the history of any gender, singer or band, love stories. I love to collect books, I've had trouble coming back to reading after the pandemics, some people got the opposite effect, but for me reading was and still is very hard. I love short stories, specially by new writers, love magic realism and sci fi. Movies I like to watch anything that makes my mind wander to anywhere it can take me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Along with my best friend, I began a hostel in Chiapas, MX and made it very successful in only one year. We decided to close a few months into the pandemic as we began losing money and didn't have enough to keep it running through the uncertainty of COVID-19, but it was a hell of an experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I clean very well, so I can definitely help with that of you need me to, I can share & cook some recipes from my family, we can try to fix the world while drinking a cup of coffee or a beer, love to discuss cultures and languages. I can take the best care of your pets, take your dog for a walk or help with brushing or any health/hygiene work for them. I can play with your kids or babysit if you need it. Would love to teach you spanish or help with practicing English as well. I can help you to see your city through new eyes, I've been told I'm good at that by some of my hosts and that's the best compliment I've received.
