Hello! My name is Alex and I just finished in 2014 my graduation course in Biology. Actually I'm doing the Master's degree in post graduation here in Rio working with the most beautiful mangroves along the brazillian coast =)

But, I've lived in three cities in Brazil considering all my life: Manaus (Capital of Amazonas) ; Salvador (Capital of Bahia) and here in Rio. This experience of living in completely different regions gave me the passion for meeting new experiences, people and if possible, new landscapes to shoot some photos.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I really believe that the number of unique people with the spirit of travelling still exists. People that value the joy of learn new stuff, culture e people most than follow the regular script of a fabricated, expensive and superficial trip organized by the agencies.

I would be glad to guide you in this wonderful city. And I'm not talking only about the main attractions like Cristo, o Redentor, Pão-de-açúcar or the night life in Lapa. There's so much else to discover ;)

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing trip in 2014 - One entire week in Chapada Diamantina, one of the most beautiful places in Brazil with 30 people that never had met each other. It was a unique experience!
