Hi everyone,

Our names are Miruna and Alex. We are originally from Romania, but we went to pursue studies in The Netherlands and now in Finland because we wanted to find new ways to emerge in different cultures, discover the world and make many new international friends. Miruna is studying Creative Business and is interested in anything branding and marketing related, exploring cultural differences and creating a bridge among them, sustainability and positive psychology. She loves writing, reading a good book and spending time in nature. Alex is studying and working in IT, so he has a lot of flexibility when it comes to working. He is interested in the latest technological trends and in cryptocurrency and he hopes one day to have his own company. He's always up for a music festival, rock concert or visiting friends we made in different countries. We are both outgoing, friendly and always curious about new cultures and different ways of living.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We are the happiest when we can dive deeper to understand a place, discover the best spots locals go to or meet local people and have interesting conversations about our cultures. Currently, we are based in Helsinki and we are interested to experience the Nordic way of life, therefore we wish to travel more in Finland, Sweden and Norway. We hope to meet you soon!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Moving from Romania to the Netherlands for studying when we were 19 years old. Went on an exchange for half a year in Helsinki, Finland where we managed to blend in with the local culture, make many new international friends and experience the very cold winter, Lapland and northern lights, ice swimming, sauna and the beautiful lakes and forests of Finland.
