I love to play and watch sports, run, dance, read about history, learn new languages, try new food, dogs (I have a 10 year old golden retriever, follow him on IG @actionjackson_bern), travel. and most of all, meet people from cultures that are different than my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love getting to know people no matter where I am -- whether chatting in the back of an airplane on a 10 hour flight, talking at the library (even when you're supposed to be quiet), or staying in someone's home in a foreign country. I especially love communicating cross-culturally -- whether through language or through a simple smile -- and there's nothing like breaking down "barriers" to understand who someone really is.

Music: Rap and Latin are my faves, but I love everything from classical to oldies to salsa.

Books: Freakonomics, Outliers, Devil in the White City

Movies/Series: Comedy and drama. And of course, GAME OF THRONES.
