About Me
Hello!
Twenty-three year old college graduate-turned-dreamer-turned-doer. During my time in college, I thought film, post-production, specifically, was what I wanted to do as a career. However, my interests have shifted elsewhere, which leads me to search for a new home in Chicago.
As for anything else about myself, feel free to ask!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: It seems much easier to list styles of music than to go into detail about bands. I listen to folk/acoustic, post-rock, black metal, progressive metal, and pretty much anything in between. A list o' a few favorite bands, though, would include Between the Buried and Me, Cloudkicker, David Bazan, City and Colour, Circa Survive, Mastodon, anything involving Devin Townsend (generally his solo material, though I can, on occasion, enjoy Strapping Young Lad), Explosions in the Sky, Intronaut, Periphery, Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree, and Opeth.
Films: Anything Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Alfred Hitchcock, Darren Aronofsky, David Fincher, Michael Moore, or Ingmar Bergman. Some of the first individual films that come mind, in relation to completely loving them, are Wings of Desire, House (1977 Japanese horror extravaganza), The Night of the Hunter, Evil Dead II, and Richard Ayoade's The Double.
This list will go on if I don't force myself to stop.
Books: At the moment, I'm currently expanding my library, taking in new works. Any recommendations would be appreciated! For now, though, my favorites are Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, Cat Daddy by Jackson Galaxy, Choke by Chuck Palaniuk, and Even Cowgirls Get the Blues by Tom Robbins.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Honestly, I can't imagine that I've done anything amazing. I suppose, personally, the most amazing thing I've done is decide that I'm ready to leave home. For the longest time, I never thought, wholeheartedly, that this fantasy could become reality, but, well, here it is, in only a short amount of time, it shall be!
I hope that more amazing things follow, that I meet some phenomenal people, and grow into a soul that's prepared to take on feats of wonder!
