I have a very eclectic taste in music, though blues, funk, soul and hip-hop are probably closest to my heart.

Having studied English Literature at Uni, reading is a core passion of mine. Whenever I visit a new country I'm sure to read fiction by local authors as well and history books.

I've just spent 4 months travelling round India and Sri Lanka. Everyday was exceptional, but the couchsurfing in Utter Pradesh and living with a family in a village was particularly memorable. Even the simplest of day-to-day living, whether it's eating together or enjoying the local sights became all the more special.

I am a fully qualified CELTA English Language teacher, very keen to help people learn! I've already done a bit of teaching in India and plan to put my skills to the test in China as well from roughly May this year. In the meantime, more than happy to help improve the English of the hosts I stay with!
