Hi , my name is Alex! I'm an exchange student from Russia , currently live and study in West Virginia university. I must warn you that I'm a wheelchair user , but I think it's not going to be a problem to host me , because I'm independent and flexible. I live by my own and usually don't even need any help. I try to live my life fully , that's why I do a lot of sports ( rock climbing is my favorite one) and also I'm into art. I do some oil painting. At the University I study Linguistics, because languages are my passion as well. I'm pretty fluent in English and German. I've been to a few European countries and now I want to see different cities of the US and meet new people, it's always very interesting and fun. Also traveling allows you to expand your horizons and share your knowledge with someone else.

It is a great opportunity to meet people and get to know the country I'm staying in . Also , it is a change to make friends and share your experience with them.

Interests

I have a lot of different interests , for example , I'm into art and I like to visit art galleries and museums . I do some oil painting. Also , I try to live healthy so I do sports , rock climbing is my favorite one. Also I'm fond on cooking , reading books , watching movies and listening to music. My another passion is languages , that's why I chose it as my major.

Music, Movies, and Books

1) I don't have a favorite genre in music , so I listen to everything . I like 30 seconds to mars, Kendrick Lamar, 21 pilots , xxxtentacion , Eminem, Rihanna, fall out boys , a lot of Russian bands and so on .

2) As for the movies , I'm into fantasy movies , i like the lord of the rings , Harry Potter and other fantasy world series. Also, I like Marvel movie , i've seen almost all of them. Besides I'm a big fan of dramas. I've seen a lot of them.

3) I read a lot of classics . My favorite ones are Anna Korenina, Crime and Punishment, 1984,the adventures of Sherlock Holmes, wuthering heights , and a lot of fantasy books , such as Harry Potter , the lord of the rings , dark materials and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to a school that was not accessible at all for 11 years, but I successfully finished it as an honor student.
I won an exchange program and now I'm studying in America for free!
