Hi everyone!
I just created my profile and will have to check out some of yours for inspiration!

I am easy going, open and value communication. My great passion is swimming, the sport that brought me to the US and determined the past 16 years of my life. Now it is time to say goodbye to the country I have spent the last five years in. Not without a little trip with stops in New York, North Carolina, and Arizona, before heading south to Central America!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, the most important thing for me is to get to know the people, since it is them who define a place, not some buildings or constructs. I have been to many places so far (not couch surfing yet) and have met some amazing people. It always takes time though to make connections. I think couch surfing will allow me to get to know locals faster, and through them find the best places in the area :)

I am planning a little trip within the states soon! I am planning on meeting up with a friend in New York, reconnect with classmates in North Carolina, and go to Arizona, a place that something inside me urges me to visit.
After that, the idea is to go to Central America: Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia are the places I want to visit!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are in the fantasy and fiction genre. However, I have phases during which I cannot get my hands off books, and then other times in which I don't even think about touching one. My all-time favorites are Ready Player One and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Both of which I devoured within two to three days.
