Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in northern Wyoming (USA) on a farm. I have been lucky to have lived in Mexico as a child, and am currently living in Provo, UT (USA) attending Utah Valley University, studying Public Relations with a minor in Russian.
From an early age, I have been instilled with a spirit of adventure. I love climbing mountains, running, biking, playing the piano, singing, and trying new things - most of all though, I love to travel and I love my family!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I took a short trip to Boston (USA) with my brothers where I was introduced to Couchsurfing - I have been in love with it ever since. The platform allows for travelers to communicate, collaborate, and share ideas and adventures. I also appreciate that it functions in somewhat of a 'what comes around goes around' manner, and as I am hosted throughout the world, I hope that I can also host travelers who will share a piece of their spirit of adventure and love for people that they possess.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: A Christmas Carol, Ender's Game, Redwall, The Giver, Seven Realms, etc
Movies: It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Lord of the Rings, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, +anything that's playing - not picky
Music: I really love to hear all sorts of music - to me, it's like hearing the lives and cultures of the people that make it. Generally though, anything that's good:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
January of 2018 I decided to drop my university life, and pick up and move to Russia to study the language. It was an incredible experience (one I would highly recommend) filled with wonderful people who are now lifelong friends, learning, growth, and some pretty amazing experiences.
Depending on where you are from, a Russian banya may be a relatively normal experience. For an American however, it was truly out of the ordinary - not to go into too much detail, but the banya involves naked Russian men in felt hats, a bundle of branches, and a room hotter than you could imagine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to hear and share stories. Every adventure I have experienced has always been pre-dated by listening to stories, dreaming, and planning. As my father says about adventures, 1/3 of the fun is just thinking about it!
I am happy to share my skills, my talents, my stories, and my worldview if requested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Any stories I have, knowledge or experiences I am happy to share! I am more than happy to help out how I can, and any connection I make will be more than welcome to stay with me when they are in town.
