I'm 22 years old and am currently in Kyoto studying anthropology as part of a year abroad from uni in London. I'm originally from the Lake District in northern England and still consider myself a country boy at heart even though London has made it slighty tougher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Feeling comfortable and 'normal' in a city is what I aim for when I travel somewhere and what is better than getting to know people who live there! Also I'd love to host people just because it's a nice fun thing to do. No big philosophies or reasons behind it really.

I love to cook and especially love to do so for others and would be more than happy cooking a slap up meal for people!
I also will never refuse a good debate and won't shy away from conversation.
I like to think of myself as a kind of handy man but probably wouldn't be able to help that much!
