Ever since I finished high school I've more or less been bumming around and saving the odd dollar to go traveling. I'd like to think I'd try anything once and double that when it comes to food!

I was born in the UK but spent most of my life in Australia (since I was 7). I'm dying to go back, which is exactly what I'll be doing this June.

My idea of traveling is to do it cheap, as I'm convinced that's the best way to meet exciting people, learn interesting things and discover amazing places. And when you do come across something that's worth spending money on (festivals, adventure activities, ect) then that's what you should spend your hard earned money on! So I thought the people I'd meet through Couchsurfing would be like minded characters, as all anyone knows about the other person is that they want to meet you and enjoy your company.

I'm crazy about the outdoors. I'm all over hiking, camping, snorkeling, scuba diving, rolling around in the snow, sand or grass and maybe even some climbing depending on my mood.

I'm into a pretty wide range of music and movies, good music is good music and same goes with movies. I don't talk books with people as much as I should so I find it hard to find good ones to stick to, so please suggest your favourites!
