About Me

Hi crew! My name is Alex Dombek and I am a 29 year old Graphic Designer who began her career in corporate America and recently changed to freelance so I can travel the world, experience new adventures, and meet incredible people from all over! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I know I don't have any reviews, so I would be more than happy to hop on a call if you would like to chat before offering up your couch! I can't wait to meet you and learn more about your world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and have authentic interactions! Back in 2015 I couch surfed around Italy and had the most incredible experience. My favorite to date was a couple who hosted me and learned I would only be in their city for 24 hours. Instead of letting me sleep, they took me out for a night on the town; showing me their secret bakeries, best bars, and favorite pizza joint! Although I was extremely exhausted the next day, I had the absolute best stories and a new found love to Bologna, Italy. I believe those experiences only truly happen when you dive into the culture with a local. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember my account information for that profile, hence why my current one shows I've only been active since 2018.
