Overview
About Me
An Australian, currently in month 5 of my 8 month trip around Europe and Nepal. I love a good laugh and learning new facts (did you know the national animal of Scotland is a unicorn and it’s on all UK passports?!). Big foodie and I love eating and exploring my way through each city/town. I’ve clocked up countless kilometres because I love strolling around and taking my time to enjoy each place, rather than fitting in as many touristy things as possible. Also love that I’ve been able to do lots of yoga and hiking in between the eating and drinking and I’m very happy now that it’s hot enough to get in the ocean!
Bit more (boring stuff) about me: I graduated in Laws and Journalism in 2016 and have been working in law since then. I moved to London in January to work in international legal policy and research for 3 months. I’m now off on 5 months of travel! Since the beginning of April, I’ve been to Scotland, Denmark, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and France. I’ll soon be in Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Nepal before heading home late August.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get a local's perspective on the best things to see, do, drink and eat in their city, and have a comfortable place to rest each night. Google can only tell you so much and I'd rather get an insider to help me make the most of my travel experience. I’ll happily try your favourite activities and food!
I love meeting new people and learning about their life and travel experience, and I want to gain a broader perspective on life and the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year, I was a volunteer Primary Ethics teacher, teaching primary school children critical thinking and moral reasoning skills and how to apply those skills to an examination of relevant ethical questions and issues. The kindergarten kids were hilarious!
