Hi! My name is Alex. I'm Italian American but grew up mostly in the US. A couple of years ago I quit my IT job and began traveling. Since then I've lived in the Canary Islands, Italy, Egypt, and Indonesia.

I think it's a great idea. Traveling isn't cheap and a site like this creates opportunities that wouldn't otherwise exist. It also seems like a great way to meet people in a new place.
