Hello, my name is Alex Gekow! I am from a small town outside of Boston Massachusetts, USA. I recently completed my first year at the University of Massachusetts as a physics major. My interests include music, movies, reading, hiking/camping, and food (both cooking and eating). I am very amiable and sociable and love to meet new people from many different backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Ethan Aronson and I have decided to take a year off of college to explore and experience life outside the ones we have been taught our whole lives. We hope our travels will take us many places including New Zealand, Australia, India, and Israel. Being backpackers we are always looking for affordable places to stay, but more importantly to make new connections with people from around the world.
