Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a solo traveler out to see more of the world from the US. This Summer, I'll be mostly in Italy/England and hope to see a few other places. Would love to get to know some locals to learn about places more, practice learning more languages, and meet fun people. Love movies, cooking, sightsee neighborhoods, go to museums, play some sports (basketball's my favorite), and try new experiences. Look forward to meeting and learning from you.

Music—Movie scores (Thomas Newman, Elliott Goldenthal, etc) or classic rock (Led Zepplin and CCR)

Movies—Currently liking more experimental arty and independent/foreign films (Under the Silver Lake, Aquarius) but I like a lot of mainstream things too (Marvel, Die Hard, Star Wars, etc)

Books—Ashamed that my reading is slowing down. Best last book I read...The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. Also a huge fan of The Sex Lives of Cannibals.
