Sobre Mim
Hi! I'm Alex, a recent university graduate, spending the Summer in the USA before I start work in September.
Driving across the US from Chicago to San Francisco, seeing the natural landscapes of the national parks / forests as well as cities like Denver, Salt Lake and Omaha.
I'm an open-minded, progressive person - I didn't have a typically British upbringing - and this will be my first time in the States,so I'm interested in seeing and experiencing the range of experiences people have across the country, how they interact with their history and the wider world. I'm down for long conversations about absolutely anything - politics, music, film, whatever is on your mind. In return, I can offer (hopefully) fun stories from the UK, conversation and the way I pronounce 'banana'.
When I'm not studying, I love hiking, skiing, bouldering and exploring natural and urban environments, as well as good food, drinks, music and books. Some of the best things happen in the spur of the moment, so I'm down for whatever spontaneous opportunities my hosts have to offer!
Por que estou no Couchsurfing?
I'm on CS to experience lifestyles I wouldn't otherwise meet in my everyday life, and push myself to go off the beaten path.
I'm hoping to really connect with my hosts and hopefully form lasting memories with them!

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz
Spent 2.5 months travelling around Greece, staying with family and visiting different islands. I connected with my background in a way I never had before, and saw parts of the country that really expanded the idea I have of Greek identity - and ate, swam and lived well in the process.
