About Me

Hello,

My name is Alexander and I am working my way across Europe, starting from England. I feel most at home when I am learning new experiences or facing a challenge. I'm trying to put myself out of my comfort zone by travelling into different countries and seeing how I can survive by making friends, trading work for a bed & food while experiencing the culture and landscapes of the country I am in.
I've worked on running my own digital marketing business for 6 years, which i gave up to study, to become a chef. For over 10 years now i've been a singer/songwriter so it would be great to meet other musicians along the way (if anyone has an old guitar laying about, I would love to show it the world)

I want to learn by doing and also meeting like minded people as i travel across Europe, to learn different ways of farming. While learning different cultures that i can apply to my cooking.

Alongside this mission I also want to see the history of the world, visit monumental places. See the beauty that the world has to offer and meet as many of the amazing people that are inhabit it, as i can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people, help them with their own adventures across the world. To learn new styles of food and drink from different cultures & ultimately make some long lasting friends along the way.

I am a hard worker, I've no objection to labor work. Whether it be construction, maintenance or any other form of work - Hey, I can even cook for you!

I am looking for like-minded people who want to share in adventures and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of all music. Frank Sinatra & the early 60's music is what got me into singing and performing. However, I do like RnB, Rap & Grime music - I've performed in Pop/Punk & Metal bands in my younger years which will explain my choice of ear accessory.

My bookshelf is filled with sci-fi / fantasy novels, coupled with loads of self-help, motivational, business books and a few classics such as Shakespeare's works dotted around.

Can't be some good action packed movies. Has to be Marvel over DC (but we can debate that if you'd like) then you have your old classics that no-one can dispute should be on the list of movies you like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've worked in Vancouver & Colombia where I had clients for my marketing business. There I met some great people and had the opportunity to take my work to different parts of the world and collect some great content.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences in Photography, Music, Videography, Marketing, Culinary Arts to whatever capacity is beneficial to the host. I am pretty good company as well so i'm sure we can have a laugh if we were to explore the local hot spots.
