Hi there! My name is Alex, nice to meet you, guys! I am a 25 year old fella from Russia (Moscow city) and a free spirit who belongs to the whole world.
I've been to many countries all around the globe where I met wonderful people who taught me life and gave me so many great experiences. I'm never bored and it encourages me to begin every day fresh.
I graduated from a Civil Engineering University in Moscow, currently I'm working as a Project manager in Expo company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my last 8 trips to the US I found tons of awesome couchsurfer, people who had open hearts and clear minds. This is the best way to get to know the country and its culture - hanging out with locals. I could tell stories about my couchsurfing experience forever! I love hosting interesting people back in Moscow and staying with them while traveling. The couchsurfing community is unique, we don't have useless borders or stupid governments, we are growing and making the world a much better and friendly place to live in.

Interests

I believe I am an interesting person because of my interests! lol
First of all my sports:
Soccer. I've been playing it all my life. I could have become a professional years ago when I had the chance but I chose education (good choice!)
Snowboarding. This is my passion! I only wish winter came more than once a year. If you guys are into snowboarding then we'll be talking about it for hours. I do other sports a lot like Football, Biking, Basketball, and Ping pong. I love hiking!!!
Also I watch a lot of movies and know everything about Hollywood. I love reading books and I write books myself as well. I play piano well and a little bit of guitar. I am not a party animal but I really enjoy having a drink and talking to different people - just chilling.

Books - So many as well but I'll say two of my favorites: 11/22/63 by Stephen King and The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made.
Music - Here I could talk literally for ages. I never concentrate on specific genres or bands. There's so much music in the world, so many different bands and I believe all of them deserve my attention. Let me say some of my favorites: La Femme, Cobra Man, Pink Floyd, The doors, Muse ... and also a shit ton of movie soundtracks and classical music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, you wouldn't believe me if I told you guys. I've got some crazy stories which are so insane for a regular man!
Funny one: Once I found $10 in Portland, OR. I had no idea how to spend them and when some hippies asked "Hey bro! Do you have a coin to spare?" I said "How about 10 bucks?!", gave it to them and kept walking cool. Wasn't it amazing enough?? hahaha

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English! Interested? Lol. Well, I am a good teacher of everything I am good at. I've worked as an English teacher for quite a while and all of my students loved me a lot. I know how to explain things and how to make it clear for everyone by seeing the issues from different prospectives. Besides that, I am a quick learner and pick up new things very easily.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My stories, experience, fun talking and good mood? Sure, you're always welcome. I also can teach you some Russian or the way how we cook food. Russian culture is so different and I think it'll be very interesting to listen how.
