ABOUT ME

I'll give anything a try. I am calm and easy going but will always get involved if there is fun to be had. Grew up in the country, lived in the city. I ride my bike to get about, when I'm not busy being a primary school teacher I like to grow stuff, play a bit of music. Heaven is a cold beer on a hot day at a campsite with some friends. Hell is a shopping mall.

Always happy to bring some beers and cook a big pot of something tasty. If you're where I am I'll show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted as part of a big house down in Brighton. Had people from all over and lots who came back it was so much fun. More recently hosted in London and now looking to pick it up here in Chicago.

I have done it before around the world but on my ex-gf's profile, so trying to build up some CS connections of my own.

I own a banjo and play it mostly for fun, along with a couple of other things. I find growing things in the garden is satisfying, as is eating them. Good beer and good veggie burgers! Music festivals. Projects that involve making a mess or visting the hardware store, often with slightly suspect outcomes. Cycling. Wild swimming.
