Travel has sent me broke! Every year I say that this will be the last trip and that I'll my money for something grown up but temptation gets the better of me. There is too much to see and do and I love the challenge of finding new places to go. Some of my greatest experiences in life have been with the people I have met overseas.

I have just returned from a trip following the cricket in England and also around Oman and Lebanon. The most memorable places I have travelled to were both Koreas and Iran.

Africa is next on the list. There are 54 countries there and I've been to one!

I work in training Chinese airline pilots which is both rewarding and challenging. What little money I have left I usually spend on sport!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The more I travel the more I realise that it is the people I meet who make the trip memorable. Couch surfing looks to be one way to make the most of future trips.

Most my book collection is non-fiction as I like to learn, particularly about history.

If a movie has substance I don't care what genre it is.
