Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Alex, a 21-year-old adventurer from Russia. I am currently on a big journey hitchhiking around the world, and right now my dream is to explore the real India - not just the tourist spots, but the culture and the people.
I am a videographer and a content creator. I love documenting my travels, meeting new people, and sharing their stories with the world. I’m very curious, easy-going, and respectful. I travel with my tent and backpack, trying to live simply and sustainably.
I speak Russian (Native) and English (Intermediate), so we can definitely have good conversations!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I travel on a very tight budget (hitchhiking style), Couchsurfing helps me survive, but more importantly — it helps me understand the soul of the country. I want to make local friends, learn how you live, taste home-cooked Indian food, and share my own culture with you. I prefer a human connection over a lonely hotel room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left my comfort zone at 20 to hitchhike solo across different countries with just a backpack, trusting the kindness of strangers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you the basics of video editing and filming (I do this professionally). I can also teach you some Russian language or how to travel halfway around the world without a penny in your pocket.
I am handy with tools! If you have a broken chair, a leaking pipe, or need help in your garden — I can fix it. I also love cooking and can make you a traditional Russian dinner if you have the ingredients.
I want to learn about Indian philosophy, spices, and how to cook proper curry! I'm also eager to find hidden non-touristy spots in your city.
Countries I’ve Visited
Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Turkey
