Im a South African, on my way home after studying for my degree in environmental science abroad. I enjoy meeting people and exchanging thoughts about the world and our place in it. Currently looking to venture out and grow into new spaces. I am an easy going person and will be sure to be a respectful and friendly couch surfer.

Interessi

I am always looking to grow and prepare things around me and the kitchen. I love fermenting foods and growing mushrooms. I believe bees hold some of the greatest wisdom around us and am always looking for ways to learn from the teachers that surround our species. I love board games, card games, seeking out and taking in beautiful landscapes, and talking philosophy over a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. I love to watch soccer and share a beer with friends (new and old!)

Musica, film e libri

Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer and Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake. Both these books have been powerful in helping me to challenge and reimagine what it means to live within our ecologies

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Slept on a beach during spring tide full moon with no one around, hoping to see leatherback turtles hatch. They did not hatch that night, but the moon and atmosphere was enough to make this memory stick for life and means I can hopefully look forward to seeing that one day in the future.
