I am a 21 year old female mechanical engineer who just graduated from the University of Boulder Colorado in the U.S. I am hiking the Te Araroa in New Zealand for the next 4 months and looking forward to meeting FANTASTIC people there!!

Some other things: I am an active hiker/biker, an artist, and an avid reader. I play Ultimate Frisbee, have studied French for 6 years, and love dogs and the outdoors. I am also a vegetarian (flexible) and love to cook and eat food with people (especially making up or trying new recipes). On the whole, I am a sunny, easygoing and independent person. You won't have to babysit me but I welcome the opportunity to meet new people, listen to their stories and explore new places!

Hiking in Norway has got to be the most incredible thing I've ever done. No sleeping bag, 3 friends, 1 tent, a generous Romanian pizza man and a landscape made by the GODS!!!
