I like to learn and explore, maximize the use of my time, meet people and get to know different cultures, ideas, experiences, tastes, smells etc. Strange to speak for myself, but I consider myself friendly, sociable, and easy to get along with. Might annoy people on certain occasions, but at the same time I will always help anyone in need. You can definitely learn something from me, and I will have the enthusiasm to learn something from you.

I joined Couchsurfing to appreciate how kindness and generosity have stretched the limits of traditional travelling by making any trip experience more flexible, more diverse, and more engaging.

兴趣

I am really into climbing, camping, hiking, bungee jumping and slacklining at the moment; I also enjoy skiing, football, fencing, parkour and gymnastics. I play the piano and a bit of the trumpet, am learning to play the kalimba at the moment. Also like to read, discuss, philosophize, cook, play around with home mechanics, pick up languages, explore some video editing software, play good old video games such as Worms World Party, Heroes III, and Counter Strike...that's off the top of my mind at this very moment

Favourite music is basically any kind of rock (more ballads than wild guitars, but also really keen on the latter) + heavy, power, symphonic, and progressive metal + classics and filmscore (currently I listen to a lot of filmscore because it helps me study for exams). Amongst my top performers are Blackmore's Night, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Rainbow, Stratovarius, Avantasia, Electric Light Orchestra, Beatles, Lindsay Stirling, Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer, Alexandre Desplat...

Book and movie fav is Lord of the Rings, I am a huge fan of Tolkien since high school, because I really enjoy how he communicates philosophical and theological concepts through the prism of fantasy. I like fantasy as a whole, but I truly cherish only a few series and Martin's Game of Thrones is, for good or bad, not one of them. I also read a lot of history and philosophy, especially Ancient Greek and Roman authors. I have some favourites from other genres as well, such as "The Lost World" and "To Kill a Mocking Bird".

Moviessss...I like mysterious ones and family comedies (even the most cliche ones). Best director - probably Nolan. Can watch a good action movie too, but I seem to have outgrown them lately. Jackie Chan movies are always top though.

Amazing is such a subjective term ... having some good French cheese and wine from Bordeaux at sunset on Dune du Pilat around a burning fire with the Atlantic in front and a really cool forest behind was kinda amazing
