One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was travelling with a friend in Indonesia and we wanted to see the sunrise on a volcano one morning. We didn't do much research and just started walking from our hostel towards the volcano in the morning. After a few minutes we saw a big group of backpackers in front of us, which we followed because they looked like they knew the way. The closer we got to the volcano, the foggier it became, until we couldn't see 10 metres away. After about 30 minutes, one of the group in front of us turned around, came to us and asked if we knew the way to the volcano, because they didn't know the way themselves. We told him that we had followed them because we thought they knew the way. Suddenly we were a very large group of tourists who had absolutely no idea where to go to the volcano. After a short, hopeless 5 minutes, a man with a cowboy hat came riding up to us on a horse and said that he could take us to the volcano. This meant that we were all able to see the sunrise on the volcano in time :)
