About Me

Soccer player. Chemist at Coca-Cola.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came on for a sec to give a good friend a reference.

Interests

Soccer, soccer, and more soccer. I don't know how it happened, but soccer is an obsession for me. To illustrate, story time: when I tore a ligament in my knee, I religiously did 6 hours of rehab per day in addition to 3x a week 1.5 hour rehab sessions with a physical therapist to come back from an ACL and return to playing 11v11 full-field 90 min games just 120 days out of surgery... which is like 1/2 the time it usually takes AND I was not just back but back better/stronger. Boom! To illustrate further, I have about 20 soccer videos on my desktop right now. I don't have a problem, okay?

Other than that, I like chess a lot, and there's chemistry of course, which is pretty cool. Science!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book of all time is Ender's Game. I've read it in one sitting on three separate occasions. Yes, I've seen the movie, and yes, I know it's bad. Don't judge a book by its movie.

My favorite songs right now are Tom Odell's Another Love (Zwette) and Sonnentanz's The Sun Don't Shine. Chet Faker's I'm Into You (# remix) is pretty legit too. I don't know what my music taste is, man... I'm not one of those people who are super opinionated about it. Even country is fine with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, there's the ACL thing... and then, I got like a 2200 on the SAT... that's about it, though. I'm just not that amazing tbh.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach super-boring math and science stuff that'll probably cause you to go into a coma from boredom.

I'm also pretty decent at chess, so I could teach that, but that kills the average person too so... shit. I guess I shouldn't teach anything, really.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hummus.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ireland, Ukraine, United States
