Hey! I'm Alex. I'm 28 years old, hailing from Northern California. I grew up in Sacramento, lived for some years in San Francisco, and most recently spent 9 months in Los Angeles for work. Professionally, I'm a creative event space general manager/event sales manager. I'm on a 8 month break from work before joining a team launching a 900 sq meter mini golf bar in Denver, Colorado.

I'm on the road traveling for 8 months. I started in Mexico before coming over to Europe, seeing Italy, Central Europe, Balkans. I go to Spain and Morocco in October and then India in November.

I'd like to meet people in the countries I'm visiting. I've done a fair amount of hostelling and find them to be a bit of a bubble. You end up interacting primarily with Brits, Aussies, Americans, etc. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing but I would like to get away from going to countries and meeting/interacting primarily with people from similar countries to me.

I'm looking to improve my Spanish, motorbiking ability, and photography ability. Dabbling in some computer based design as well (Photoshop, illustrator).

I'm a pretty good cook, especially Italian food. I can make you an incredible fresh pasta feast. Fresh pasta, homemade sauce, everything that will fill you up and make you happy!
