I believe that part of what makes new places so amazing is the people that you get to meet while you're there. Meeting new people is the perfect way to be more than just a tourist in the places that you visit. It allows you to learn about the culture, the customs, the food, and the places through the eyes of someone whose known them their whole life. And maybe even get to make some awesome new friends along the way!

I like movies, but I would prefer to be out exploring new places, trying new things, and meeting new people. However, Netflix is the perfect thing for rainy days.

I love to read. And I’ve been trying to find more opportunities to do so. Audio books have become of interest to me recently, they’re perfect for long commutes. I’ve listened to the classics Alice in a Wonderland and The Secret Garden, and have been in search of something interesting to listen to next.

The first time I ever left my home country was to come live in a foreign country for a year. It's been pretty amazing so far and it's only the beginning.

Every person in your life has something that they can teach you and that you can learn from them. Life is an ongoing lesson. The more we share with others, the more we have the chance to grow!

Currently I'm teaching as an English Language and Culture Assistant in a primary school. Most days I think my students teach me more than I could ever teach them. Everyone in your life is both a teacher and a student.
